Princess 62£59,0004 Weeks p.a

A fantastic high performance yacht
The new Princess 62 combines high performance with spacious accommodation and dynamic good looks. This latest deep V hull has been developed with a generous beam so as to allow a good sized galley to be located on the main deck.
Also a separate dining area and a large and comfortable aft saloon with its own entertainment centre. This allows the lower deck accommodation to be designed on the same principles as much larger boats with a full beam owner’s cabin, a VIP suite forward, and two further guest cabins as well as a laundry centre.

Information

The new Princess 62 combines high performance with spacious accommodation and dynamic good looks. This latest deep V hull has been developed with a generous beam so as to allow a good sized galley to be located on the main deck in conjunction with a separate dining area and a large and comfortable aft saloon with its own entertainment centre.
This allows the lower deck accommodation to be designed on the same principles as much larger boats with a full beam owner’s cabin, a VIP suite forward, and two further guest cabins as well as a laundry centre. The aft crew cabin adds another two berths.

The wide beam also means plenty of room in the aft cockpit and on the flybridge with large seating areas, a separate sunbed, and a wet bar with barbeque.
The hull design has been carefully configured to combine outstanding seaworthiness with high speeds so as to allow extended fast cruising whilst retaining simple and straightforward handling characteristics which are further enhanced through power assisted steering, electronic engine controls and a powerful bow thruster for easy manoeuvring.
Beautifully fitted and with dynamically elegant looks, the Princess 62 sets a new standard. Definitely a yacht you should consider if you’re looking to make an investment in a well run, well maintained and fantastic looking vessel.

This syndicate specifically chose the Princess 62 for its four spacious cabins and its high specification, among which is a hand held ‘Yacht-Controller’ remote unit.
One can pilot the yacht from anywhere on board, making single-handed operation simple. This is particularly advantageous if one uses their in house skipper who is available at €250 per day, as he is able to moor the yacht without any guest assistance whatsoever.
One of the owners has chosen to upgrade to an 85ft syndicated yacht run by the same fractional group and is therefore offering his share in this yacht for sale.
This yacht is so popular with her owners that they have decided to commission a comprehensive refit during the 2017/2018 winter season rather than the syndicate upgrading to a different yacht after their 3 seasons of use. The refit includes:
- New internal soft furnishings
- New internal carpeting throughout
- New galley flooring
- New heads
- New external upholstery
- New external tables & chairs
- New Bimini
- Tender upgrade
- Complete state-of-the-art upgrade of all navigation equipment.
The total cost of the refit is circa €90,000.This syndicate has a cross section of owners, some preferring school holiday dates, other keen to avoid them. The owners are also of different European nationality meaning that there is further diversity in date preferences as holiday dates also differ between each nation.
This syndicate is also Platinum Member of the Fractional Association, giving each shareholder the comfort that it is very well managed, and the Fractional Association’s complete operational criteria are adhered to, offering fully transparent access to accounts and other operational procedures. (see www.FractionalAssociation.com)
The Fractional Association have devised an algorithm that makes the weekly selection process as fair as possible for each individual owner. Every year the order of selection changes so that those who were disadvantaged the previous year are advantaged the following year.
This is how it works: Each person selects a week in rotation. Person 1 chooses one week, then it’s person 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 all choosing a week at a time in order. This cycle is repeated until all 48 weeks for the year are allocated, (the remaining 4 weeks are retained as maintenance weeks). The following year it’s done in reverse which gives the person who chose 8th the ability to choose 1st instead, and so on. Each year, after the 48 weeks are fully allocated, it is normal that some swapping takes place after the 48 weeks are allocated between owners for those who prefer 2 weeks together for example. The Fractional Association’s website forum for each syndicate has a special section for week swaps or for cancelled, unused weeks which owners trade with one another.
